The Front Steps Project – Day 1

The Front Steps Project – Day 1

Being a part of this project has brought me so much joy and happiness for being able to give families something to look forward to in a time where there is so much uncertainty in the world right now! All the positive feedback I’ve gotten from everyone has brought me so much joy and makes me so grateful to be able to be a part of such an amazing community where we are all united despite not being able to be physically together! To be able to talk to other families and see their smiles has shown me the purpose of being a photographer, which is to capture love. My goal was to show the love between families while helping an organization that has great importance in our town, the Acton Food Pantry and I can confidently say that we have accomplished this goal!
I also want to say that though I’m the one that the families see when I go to their houses, I’m not doing this project alone! Though she is behind the scenes, Jana Cataldo has been helping me make this project possible in the Acton-Boxborough community! She was a big part in organizing all of this and I wouldn’t be able to do this without her so thank you, Jana! I also want to thank all of the families for participating in the project because not only have you made this project possible, you have shown us what it means to be a community that truly cares for each other! Together we are stronger and though separated, we are more united than ever!
